In Late June 2012, singer Megan Nosek approached her friend and bass player Wes asking if he would be interested in starting a band. After hearing her sing for the first time later that night he agreed. A few days later Megan brought in her long time friend, Ryan Rice, to play drums. The trio was now in search for a guitarist. About a week later Wes ran into childhood friend Donovan Farrell (guitarist). Wes and Donovan used to “jam” together as neighbors and hadn’t seen one another in almost 15 years. Learning that they both were looking to start a new band, Donovan jumped on board. On July 6th, the four met for the first time and Tonight’s Alibi was born. The group instantly clicked and began making music that day. On August 18th, only six weeks after their first practice, the band performed live for the first time playing 12 songs at a local music festival in Charles County, Maryland. On September 29th 2012, they played their first full show; performing over 30 songs to an excited crowd in St. Mary’s County, Maryland. Tonight’s Alibi now performs at many venues in Maryland to a rapidly growing fan base.
